Join the launch of the AAC's Health Technology Pathway: Navigation Tool for Innovators in England.
Developed by the Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) with help from stakeholders, the Health Technology Pathway: Navigation Tool for Innovators in England sets out for the first time the key steps and activities an innovator must go through to successfully bring their HealthTech product to market in England.
The toolkit breaks the innovation process down into 25 steps across the five key stages of the product lifecycle, from creation through to commissioning & adoption, and includes best practice approaches, important organisations to engage with, guidelines for evidence-gathering, regulatory insight, as well as suggested to-do lists and required outputs for each step. The hope is this will demystify the HealthTech innovation process and empower innovators with the knowledge they need to accelerate product development.
Although aimed at SMEs who lack a deep history of working in the NHS, the toolkit will also be of interest to other innovation partners with an interest in the HealthTech sector, including the NHS, membership groups, regulators, government bodies, funders, VCs, etc.
